Corporate Catering in Ottawa

Hosted, on the record, in your own space.

OH! Corporate Tables are for the workplace moments that represent the company to somebody outside it: client receptions, product launches, grand openings, appreciation evenings and team milestones. This page is the hub for all of them, and it covers the parts that decide whether a corporate booking runs cleanly — building access, setup windows, invoicing, labelling and the paperwork a venue will ask a supplier for. Daytime meetings and working lunches have their own page, because the logistics genuinely differ.

The OH! approach

A beautiful party table,
ready when your guests arrive.

01

Client receptions and appreciation evenings

A reception runs on movement. Guests arrive across forty minutes, hold a drink and want food they can eat one-handed while a conversation keeps going. We place the display away from the entrance so arrivals pull through the floor, keep the glassware surface separate, and plan the replenishment so the table still looks deliberate at the ninety-minute mark when the client you invited finally gets to it.

02

Product launches and grand openings

A launch compresses a lot into two hours: a demo or a speech, a photographer working the whole time, and a space that has to look finished from the moment the first person walks in. Setup timing carries more weight here than menu breadth.

  • Built and photographed before doors, with a confirmed finish time
  • Colour story matched to brand palette where it helps the photographs
  • Replenishment staged out of the camera line
  • Printed menu cards naming every item, for guests and for the photographs
03

Team celebrations and employee appreciation

Internal events have their own failure mode: people compare them to last year, out loud. A styled table reads as effort at a glance, and it lets a mixed group serve themselves across a lunch hour with nobody assigned to run the food. Anniversaries, project completions, promotions and end-of-quarter afternoons all fit the same format at different sizes.

04

Networking evenings

Networking food has to survive being eaten standing, one-handed, beside somebody the guest has just met. Pieces finish in two bites, nothing needs a knife or drips, and at least a third of the menu stays vegetarian and spread across the display so nobody has to hunt or ask. Our reception catering page carries the piece counts and the hot-to-cold split in detail.

05

Access is what breaks corporate catering

The building is the variable, and it is the one we ask about first. A forty-minute build with no lift access becomes ninety minutes, and a security desk with no name on the list becomes a stand in the lobby.

  • Loading dock or front door, and how long the carry is from either
  • Service lift booking, which many downtown and Centretown buildings require in advance
  • Security sign-in, with our names sent through the day before
  • A named setup window agreed with your facilities contact and written into the quote
  • Where used plates and glasses go during the event, and who clears them
  • Collection of serving pieces the same day or the next morning
06

Invoicing, POs and how the paperwork lands

Send the billing entity, a PO number where your finance team uses them, and the accounts email with the enquiry, and the quote comes back addressed correctly the first time. A $600 minimum applies before delivery and taxes, delivery and on-site styling are $45 within 25 km, and every figure is quoted before tax so the number that reaches your approver is the real one.

07

Dietary labelling as standard

Every corporate table ships with written cards. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-aware items are marked, and any item carrying a common allergen is named on its card in plain language. Share dietary preferences and allergy information when you enquire. We plan suitable choices and label the table clearly. For severe or life-threatening allergies we talk through cross-contact before you book, and we cannot guarantee allergen-free preparation on a shared table.

08

The paperwork a venue will ask for

OH! works out of a rented licensed commercial kitchen in Ottawa. There is no liability policy in OH!'s own name today, so a venue-specific certificate of insurance is something we cannot supply. Venues in Ottawa routinely ask suppliers for one, so raise it with us early and you get a straight answer for your date and venue in writing.

09

Service staff on the floor

A styled corporate table is self-serve by design: built before doors, replenished on the plan agreed for your date, packed down at the end. Where an event wants dedicated service staff on the floor through the evening, that is quoted per event, so raise it with the enquiry and it comes back priced with the rest.

10

December office parties

December runs on its own rules: the dates go first, the venue is usually a rented space with a fixed booking block, and the cancellation window matters more to a December booker than to anyone else in the year. Our Christmas party catering page carries the seasonal planning and the dates to watch.

11

Budget, minimums and area

Styled tables start at $42 per guest, plus applicable taxes, and the working range runs $42–$65 per guest, with the top of it being tables that replace a meal. Your quote is built from four things: guest count, table format, how long the event runs and the setup the room needs, and it separates food, styling and delivery so each part of the number is visible. The event minimum is $600 before delivery and taxes. We serve the City of Ottawa, Ontario. Kanata, Stittsville, Nepean, Barrhaven, Westboro, the central neighbourhoods, Orléans, Manotick and Riverside South sit inside the standard delivery area, where delivery and on-site styling are $45. Past 25 km the delivery charge is quoted for your address and appears on the quote before you book. A 30% deposit and a signed quote hold your date, and the balance is due 3 days before the event. Move or cancel more than 14 days out and the deposit is refunded; inside that window it covers the sourcing already committed.

Questions, answered

Before you
say OH!

How far in advance should I book catering in Ottawa?

Two to four weeks is a comfortable planning window for a styled table. December dates, long-weekend Saturdays and shower season fill earliest, and short-notice weekday events are always worth asking about.

How do you handle allergies and dietary requirements?

Share dietary preferences and allergy information when you enquire. We plan suitable choices and label the table clearly. For severe or life-threatening allergies we talk through cross-contact before you book, and we cannot guarantee allergen-free preparation on a shared table.

What does a styled table cost?

Styled tables start at $42 per guest, plus applicable taxes, and the working range runs $42–$65 per guest, with the top of it being tables that replace a meal. Your quote is built from four things: guest count, table format, how long the event runs and the setup the room needs, and it separates food, styling and delivery so each part of the number is visible. The event minimum is $600 before delivery and taxes. Delivery and on-site styling are $45 within 25 km. Past that, the charge is quoted for your address before you book.

What are the deposit, cancellation and final-count terms?

A 30% deposit and a signed quote hold your date, and the balance is due 3 days before the event. Move or cancel more than 14 days out and the deposit is refunded; inside that window it covers the sourcing already committed. Final guest count is due 7 days before the event. After that the shopping list is set: numbers can still rise, and the count stops coming down. Every figure is quoted plus applicable taxes.

Where do you deliver?

We serve the City of Ottawa, Ontario. Kanata, Stittsville, Nepean, Barrhaven, Westboro, the central neighbourhoods, Orléans, Manotick and Riverside South sit inside the standard delivery area, where delivery and on-site styling are $45. Past 25 km the delivery charge is quoted for your address and appears on the quote before you book.

How do I reach you?

Call +1 613 710-0554 with your date, guest count and neighbourhood, or send the same details through the enquiry form. We answer every enquiry within one business day, and the reply names the next step and the date being held while we talk.

What happens after I enquire?

We answer every enquiry within one business day, and the reply names the next step and the date being held while we talk. You send the date, guest count, neighbourhood and a sentence about the room. We reply with a starting format and the two or three questions that move the quote. You get one written quote separating food, styling, delivery and travel, with terms attached. A signed quote and deposit hold the date, then the menu is finalised around season and dietary needs. We arrive ahead of guests, build the table in the room and take the serving pieces away afterwards.

Can you invoice a company rather than take a card?

Yes. Send the billing entity, the PO number if you use them and the accounts email with your enquiry, and the quote comes back addressed correctly the first time.

Do you cover daily office lunch delivery?

Our lane is event-shaped corporate catering. For meetings, workshops and working lunches, see our office catering page — that format is planned around agendas and setup windows rather than a recurring order.
